What’s the big idea?!
Given that the best ideas have the most inopportune timing, I’m not really into the organised nature of brainstorming. Rather, learning to ride the theta brain waves has generated brilliant visual motifs and clarity of thought for me. It’s free flow and has no risk of censorship or rejection. But if your boss really does insist then here are my top tips
Here are a few tips:
1. Set a goal for your session. What do you hope to achieve? This will help keep you focused and on track.
2. Keep it positive. Encourage creative thinking by maintaining a positive attitude throughout the session.
3. Stimulate creativity with props and visuals. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of creativity to jumpstart the process. So don't be afraid to use props or visual aids during your brainstorming sessions.
4. Be open-minded. It's important to consider all ideas, no matter how far-fetched they may seem at first glance. You never know where the next great idea might come from!
5. Brainstorm in short bursts. Trying to brainstorm for hours on end is usually not very effective. Instead, break up your session into shorter periods of time with breaks in between. This will help keep everyone fresh and focused.
By following these tips, you can ensure that your brainstorming sessions are productive and yield results that can help take your business to the next level!
